About Janice Harayda
Janice Harayda is the founder and editor-in-chief of One-Minute Book Reviews. An award-winning journalist, she is also the author of the comedies of manners The Accidental Bride (St. Martin’s, 1999) and Manhattan on the Rocks (Sourcebooks, 2004). She has been the book columnist for Glamour, book editor and critic for The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, and vice-president for awards of the National Book Critics Circle.
Jan received a B.A. degree from the University of New Hampshire, where she studied writing with Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Murray and National Book Award-winner Thomas Williams. She has taught as an adjunct at major universities and speaks frequently to college classes, writers’ conferences, book clubs, library groups and professional organizations.
