I don’t agree. It’s true that in a book shop i’m surrounded by all sorts of books, and in an online environment i can only see the books i’ve selected, but also, paying on the internet doesn’t feel as real as paying with cash or card and watching it disappear, which lets me spend more adventurously online…
what do you think?

What an interesting idea: big-box stores incorporating used books! One large indie bookstore already does that, the Strand in Lower Manhattan. So there seems no reason why others couldn’t do it, too.

Had never thought of it this way, but it does make sense! I do like that Amazon allows you the choice of used books that are much cheaper… If the big-box bookstores could incorporate that, they would be better off!
