No she did not! Claudette Colvin will be attending the National Book Awards arm and arm with author, Phil Hoose and the audience will see that she is still the girl that said “no” to Jim Crow.

I gathered audio from several of her recent appearances and wove it together into a YouTube. Thought you might like hearing from the grand woman herself–
