Thank you for your review. I have not read this book, although I did read Atonement. Winner of tbe National Book Critics Circle Award or not, Atonement was not a book with characters I found appealing or with whom I could identify.

So, I was interested in your review of another book by this author. Anyway, I am afraid this one is not my cup of tea, either.
